A lovely interview with the elegant Laura lewis
enjoy the read!

1 - whats in your make-up bag?
Make up bag: These aren't products I use every single day. Sometimes I just use a bit of concealer, blush and mascara

But, these are always in my make up bag;

Rimmel BB Cream

YSL Babydoll Mascara,

Nars blusher in Douceur

Mac studio fix concealer

YSL Touche Eclat (limited edition version)

Real Techniques brushes and sponge

MAC lipstick in Ruby Woo (Always have a red lipstick in there)

2. Whats your outfit for today?

I'm loving simple items paired with a statement piece at the moment. A plain white t shirt and Boyfriend jeans paired with these gorgeous heels is a favourite right now. Plus, the heels are surprisingly comfortable!

ASOS boyfriend jeans

GAP tshirt

Zara jacket

Kurt Geiger London 'Samantha' shoes

3. It was recently NYFW who was your favorite designer ?
My favourite show at NYFW was Oscar de la Renta - classic, stylish and very girly.

4. Whats your daily fragrance?
I love all the Marc by Marc Jacobs perfumes - I collect the bottles and have so many on my dressing table at home! The one I'm wearing a lot of recently is Dot. I just love the scent and always get compliments. It's just lovely and fresh.

5. mini quiz: heels or flats?
Red lippy or pink lippy?
Night in or night out
lashes or nail polish?

heels - although, I'm wearing flats a lot more than I used to!

Red lippy

Night in (with prosecco, yummy food and a good film)

Nail polish

6 -your heading to LFW what do your wear?
 LFW outfit

ASOS metallic pleat midi skirt

H&M denim shirt

Kurt Geiger London 'Bond' shoes

7 - what were your high lights of LFW and why?
I was only at LFW for a day as I was away for 3 of the days but, I always love hanging out at Somerset House people watching and getting inspiration for my wardrobe. I think London has the best street style (then Paris!) Simone Rocha was my favourite show. She's so talented.

8 - if you could collaborate with any designer who would it be?
I would collaborate with Simone Rocha. I love her collections each season - they're very feminine, with a classic but up-to-date edge.

Baby Items I Don't Buy | minimalist lifestyle

Living in a small space we found you don't need half of the things all the parent magazines tell you. You have to work with what you've got and we've saved space and  money by doing it this way.  A baby monitor We have never owned one because we are one door away from the bedroom to the front room we check on our children regularly, i don't see the point in having one in a small flat. If you're in a big house then I completely understand and I would do the same too If we lived in a bigger place.  A changing table We have always used a changing mat followed by a basket full of nappies, creams, wipes, cloths, etc and stored it away for easy access. Changing tables are a large item to have in a small home and as much as I would like one, a baby changing mat does the same thing.  Formula heating machine I've breastfed and fed my children formula and one thing we don't need is a chunky machine to get the formula mixed and hot. We can quiet easily stor
