Lifestyle: The Grand Hotel

Ordering dinner

Our gift from the hotel!

The breakfast hall was amazing!

The grand Brighton hotel

The grand brighton hotel is situated On the sea front only 15minute walk from the pier! As we walked into to the building we were greeted by the reception staff who offered to help us with the pram, We both thought it was such a luxurious place to be in and the hotel itself was so romantic,I felt as though I should have been in a ball gown. http://www.grandbrighton.co.uk/spa-en.html

The room:
We stayed in a classic room, which start from £130. It was spacious and very comfortable with an ensuit bathroom and goodies to keep us going even poppy enjoyed the huge bed! You can also get a deluxe sea view room from £290 http://www.grandbrighton.co.uk/rooms-en.html  In our room of the hotel we received: white robes, bottles of water, bathroom goodies, tea and coffee treats. You also get free wifi which comes in handy when you want to post a selfie or a picture of your exquisite food on instagram.

Dinner: We decided to celebrate our anniversary in the hotels restaurant,GB1 seafood restaurant and bar, which we thought was a bit pricey but that's what you expect in a lovely place like this! We were given a basket of bread & butter along with popcorns snacks! We both ordered pollock & chips I ordered minty mushy peas. We only had glasses of water as we arent big drinkers in fact I probably drink twice a year. And finally for our pudding we were gifted a delicious orange panacotta dessert by the hotel to wish us a happy anniversary! http://www.grandbrighton.co.uk/dining-en.html

Breakfast:
All I can say is wow! I have never seen such a great breakfast hall! With continental, fry up, cereals and a large selection of breads and pastries. All foods you can imagine we're available to eat from 7- 11 I think next time we will head down earlier and try everything! hahaha.

All in all this hotel was divine! Only thing I would changed would be having more time to explore the hotel and spa facilities. Wonderful stay. http://www.grandbrighton.co.uk/spa-en.html

Baby Items I Don't Buy | minimalist lifestyle

Living in a small space we found you don't need half of the things all the parent magazines tell you. You have to work with what you've got and we've saved space and  money by doing it this way.  A baby monitor We have never owned one because we are one door away from the bedroom to the front room we check on our children regularly, i don't see the point in having one in a small flat. If you're in a big house then I completely understand and I would do the same too If we lived in a bigger place.  A changing table We have always used a changing mat followed by a basket full of nappies, creams, wipes, cloths, etc and stored it away for easy access. Changing tables are a large item to have in a small home and as much as I would like one, a baby changing mat does the same thing.  Formula heating machine I've breastfed and fed my children formula and one thing we don't need is a chunky machine to get the formula mixed and hot. We can quiet easily stor
