Rhythm Tree 2017

Family friendly festival

Rhythm tree is a family friendly music festival with over 70 acts performing over the weekend. This included headline acts from lightning seeds, blockheads and more. Not only that but you also get free parking, free camping plus children go free too! The festival is situated at three gates farm on the Isle of Wight. With the music acts spread over 4 stages from mid day to evening, there's so much time to do stuff with the kids in between; face painting, rides, sand pit, Lego, messy play, carnival characters, the lady ship stage with children's entertainers dancing and signing, etc. It was our first festival together as a family, mine and Poppy's first ever festival! It was pretty special too as we also celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary.

There was a wide variety of food stalls, boutique clothing stalls, jewellery, costume, henna including a massage parlour! I must admit all the food from the festival looked and smelled amazing! They had veggie bus, gluten free, Chinese, Mexican, bangers and mash, healthy stalls...everything you can think of in one space! I had the Tarka Dahl on the Sunday night which was delicious I also had pulled pork on the side as I wanted to try as much as I could. For pudding we had candy floss and doughnuts, like I said, I wanted to try as much as I could.

I hope you enjoyed the read
Lots of love

Baby Items I Don't Buy | minimalist lifestyle

Living in a small space we found you don't need half of the things all the parent magazines tell you. You have to work with what you've got and we've saved space and  money by doing it this way.  A baby monitor We have never owned one because we are one door away from the bedroom to the front room we check on our children regularly, i don't see the point in having one in a small flat. If you're in a big house then I completely understand and I would do the same too If we lived in a bigger place.  A changing table We have always used a changing mat followed by a basket full of nappies, creams, wipes, cloths, etc and stored it away for easy access. Changing tables are a large item to have in a small home and as much as I would like one, a baby changing mat does the same thing.  Formula heating machine I've breastfed and fed my children formula and one thing we don't need is a chunky machine to get the formula mixed and hot. We can quiet easily stor
